Joel Martin, Kalamazoo Wings goalie, was honored with this shadowbox before the game on February 3, 2017, for breaking the franchise record for career wins – with his 197th! Before Martin rewrote the record books, the previous mark had stood for 30 years. This was an unforgettable accomplishment that required an equally unforgettable token of appreciation.
